Non-Profit organizations that become Information Providers have access to unlimited web page space. Newbies to the Internet can take advantage of our experienced volunteers. Plus we are involved in projects that could benefit from your support. The Calgary Community Network Association was established in 1995 (originally as Calgary Freenet). Isn't it time you joined?

How to Save Money at the Calgary Stampede

Stampede Parade Start the festivities off, July 6 morning, by watching the Calgary Stampede Parade -- marching bands, horses, cowboys, First Nations, horses, floats, dignitaries, horses, celebrities, more horses, street cleaners, clowns, clubs and associations, and even more horses.You can join millions world-wide by watching it on the local television stations, but it's much more fun joining the thousands that line 6th and 9th Avenues downtown. People usually start snagging a curbside seat around 7:00 or 8:00 AM.

On the Stampede grounds There are always lots of free shows on the Coke Stage. Here is a list of some of the performers.

Downtown The Calgary Exhibition & Stampede Downtown Attractions Committee plan all kinds of entertainment and activities on the Stephen Avenue Mall; from free pancake breakfasts to square dancing. Visit their Downton Attractions page for schedules.
