Introduction

The following instructions explain how to configure Windows Vista to connect to CCNA's Dialup service.


Getting Started

1. Go to the Control Panel from the Start Menu (Figure 1).

2. Click on "Network and Internet".

3. Click on "Network and Sharing Center" (Figure 3).

4. Click on "Set up a connection or network" under Tasks (Figure 4).

5. Select "Set up a dial-up connection" (Figure 5).

6. Use the following configuration settings (Figure 6) 

Note: Check the "Remember this password" box if you would like Windows to remember your password

7. Click "Create"
 
 

You have now created a dial-up connection to CCNA. 


Testing your connection

Once you have finished creating the dial-up connection you should now be able connect to CCNA's Dialup service.

To test your connection:

Go to the Connect To from the Start Menu.

Click on CCNA connection

Click on Connect.to start your Internet Session.
